Professional Placement - Associate Artist (Early Career)
COME WORK WITH US!
To support the development of local arts and culture personnel, the City of Gold Coast is offering early and mid-career artists and creative workers the opportunity to undertake a paid Professional Placement.
Since 2019, the Professional Placement Program has worked with over 100 host organisations to upskill 145 local arts and culture participants.
Last year White Rabbit had the pleasure of hosting early-career artist El Waddingham during a creative development for a new work.
See what El had to say about their time with us…
“Working with White Rabbit Theatre on their development has to be one of the creative highlights of my year… Lisa and Ainslee are carving crucial space for femme/female-identifying regional artists to collaborate in a space that meets them where they’re at and lifts them up. The importance of this cannot be understated, considering the lack of professional opportunities in regional SEQ for artists who sit in the margins to lead, and be led.”
